The Biggest Rule For a Breakup

Breaking up with someone or the other is pretty much never going to be easy for the vast majority of people at any given point in time. A big part of the reason why that is the case has to do with the fact that you would no longer have the chance to spend your life with someone that you thought was going to be around for the foreseeable future, and it’s easy to see why people often face poor mental health after having gone through something or the other that is of this sort.

That said, once you stop seeing someone that you had previously been romantically involved with in some way, shape or form, there are certain breakup rules that you should consider following. While there are a lot of rules that must be followed in this regard and most people will give their own opinions on which ones matter more than others, there is one rule in particular that we feel stands above the rest because of how crucial it tends to be when you look at it from the perspective of your future prospects.

This rule is that once you break up with someone, you should ideally consider avoiding them for a really long time. It’s understandable that you might want to text them to see how they are doing, but suffice it to say that doing so is going to cause lots of problems for you that you might be better off not looking into. What you need more than anything else right now is space, and avoiding this person is going to give you all the space you need to process what you have been through.
